I just received some good news. The HAA has coordinated schedules for Professor Sheila Jasanoff to speak on Thursday, May 15 at the annual Harvard Club dinner in Portland.

Professor Jasanoff is a well published authority on environmental policy, and her official titles include: Pforzheimer Professor of Science and Technology Studies, John F. Kennedy School of Government and Director, Program on Science, Technology, and Society (STS), John F. Kennedy School of Government. She also teaches in the Department of the History of Science.

Now that we have the speaker and the date, we can begin planning for location, invitations, program, and all the other activities that make the annual dinner such a splendid affair.

For the past several years, we have enjoyed the able leadership of Kelvin Ng in organizing the dinner. Now that Kelvin has become president of the Harvard Business School Association of Oregon, we have an opportunity for another alum to lead the annual dinner. I am now accepting applications and referrals.
